For the sour cream crust
1 1/8 cups (1 cup + 2 tablespoons) almond flour
3/8 cup (1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons) arrowroot starch
3 tbls coconut flour
3 tbls tapioca starch
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teas. salt
7/8 cup (3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons) organic sour cream
For the toppings-optional
Sweet potato marinara
Garlic
Argula
Artichokes
Fresh Herbs- basil, cilantro, parsley
Heart of palm
Onions
Olives
Olive oil
Figs
A2 Casein cheese
Goat Mozzarella
Parmesan
Prosciutto
INSTRUCTIONS
Here’s how to make Sour Cream Pizza Crust at home.
Preheat oven to 400°F
In a medium to large bowl mix dry ingredients with whisk and remove any clumps.
Add sour cream and mix well. This will be a soft, very sticky dough
Dump it out on a parchment lined baking pan and flatten, shape and smooth it into a round about 1/4 to 3/8" thick. Use the back of a large spoon or place dough between two sheets of parchment paper and use rolling pin to flatten dough into circle
Remove top layer of parchment paper and use fingers to roll over outside edge to form the crust
Use a fork and pierce the bottom of the dough (to prevent air bubbles from forming)
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes
Remove from oven and add toppings of choice (Save leafy toppings like arugula or fresh herbs for very last to use as a garnish)
Bake again for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
Add leafy toppings (if using) and serve
